Mocs Finish Midlands Championships in 17th Place

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestling team concluded the 2009 Midlands Championships in 17^th place overall.

Junior Tim Minwell was the only Moc in action today, competing the heavyweight wrestleback bracket. Minwell took on top-seeded Aaron Anspach of the Lions WC and was pinned in the third period (6:48).

The Mocs will be back in action on Jan. 16 when they host Missouri at Maclellan Gym on Jan. 16. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) against the top-25 Tigers.
