The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga kicked off Homecoming Week today with a pep rally in the heart of campus. Hundreds of students, faculty and supporters filled Heritage Plaza for the beginning of the annual festivities and the announcement of the Homecoming Court.
For a complete list of campus activities during Homecoming Week click here. Be sure to bookmark this page as a reference for all activities leading up to the Homecoming game against Western Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 6:05 p.m. (E.D.T.) in Finley Stadium.
UTC is 2-4 overall and 0-3 in Southern Conference action, but has played a brutal schedule. The Mocs last three losses have been by a combined FOUR POINTS, including near misses at No. 3 Appalachian State and No. 1 Georgia Southern.
TICKETS
Tickets for the game are available online by clicking here. Remember to enter the promotional code 'restore' and get general admission tickets for just $8. Use the print-at-home option to avoid lines at the will call booth on game day. This offer is available online until kickoff on Saturday.
Fans can also call the UTC Ticket Office at (423) 266-MOCS (6627) to order over the phone or visit the UTC Ticket Office at the McKenzie Arena from 10-5 Monday-Friday. The St. Elmo ticket window on the south side of Finely Stadium will also be open on Friday from Noon-5:00 p.m.
The ticket window in the First Tennessee Pavilion opens on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. with all other ticket windows at Finley Stadium opening at 3:00 p.m. There are no tickets sales at the McKenzie Arena Ticket Office on Saturday.
TAILGATING
Tailgating is allowed in all of the parking lots surrounding Finley Stadium, however, the center of activity is the First Tennessee Pavilion. For all information on tailgating at Mocs football games click here.
CHAT WITH THE MOCS
This week's Chat with the Mocs will broadcast from the Buffalo Wild Wings location in Hixson on Highway 153. DOWNTOWN PEP RALLY ON FRIDAY
There will be a pep rally on Friday, Oct. 15, to get fans ready for the big game. The pep rally will take place in Miller Plaza (Market Street & MLK) at Noon. Coach Huesman, players, the band, cheerleaders and Sugar Mocs will all be on hand.
BREAKFAST WITH THE COACH
Coach Huesman will be the featured speaker at the UTC Mocs Club 'Breakfast with the Coach.' This event is open to the public and will be on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 8:30 a.m. in the Chickamauga Room of the University Center on the campus of UTC.
