CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Chattanooga men's tennis coach Carlos Garcia announced the signing of Stephen Crofford in the early signing period.
Crofford is a former Tennessee State Open doubles champion and posted an overall record of 34-4 through two years at Franklin High School.
“I am very excited that Stephen has chosen UTC to continue his education and join our tennis program here at UTC,” Garcia said. “He works hard and he is a very focused young man. He will have an immediate impact on this team and I know he is looking forward to competing in the tough Southern Conference.”
At the Southern Doubles Championship he and his partner finished fifth. Crofford has been ranked as high as #3 in Tennessee singles and is ranked in the Top 50 in Southern Section.
