Flips Wrestling Hosts Scuffle Clinic, Featuring Jordan Oliver

Flips Wrestling, one of the presenting sponsors of the 2014 Southern Scuffle, is hosting an autograph session and clinic featuring two-time NCAA Champion Jordan Oliver, during the event’s intermission on Jan. 2.

The 2014 Southern Scuffle, presented by Defense Soap and Flips Wrestling, takes place in McKenzie Arena on Jan. 1-2.  There is a break in the action at 5:00 p.m. on the second day, between the consolation semifinals and the Medal Rounds.  Fans will be encouraged to make their way across the street to Maclellan Gym for the clinic and autograph session.

“We are always looking for ways to make the Scuffle better and grow this premier event,” stated Chattanooga head coach Heath Eslinger.  “Flips Wrestling has been a great partner and they stepped up to provide our fans and younger wrestlers in attendance with a chance to hear from one of the best in our sport.”

Oliver won the 2013 Southern Scuffle at 149 pounds, while guiding Oklahoma State to a runner-up finish in the team standings.  A four-time All-American for the Cowboys, Oliver won the NCAA Championship in 2011 and 2013.  He is currently training for the 2016 Olympics.

The clinic and autograph session are FREE to all Southern Scuffle attendees and you will need your ticket stub for entrance to Maclellan Gym.  One lucky member of the audience will receive a FREE set of autographed Flips Wrestling Headphones.  For more information, or to register for the drawing for the headphones, email
