Men's Tennis Loses at No. 42 Elon, 6-0

| By:
ELON, N.C.--The Elon men's tennis team, ranked No. 42 in the nation, won all six singles matches to defeat Chattanooga 6-0 on Sunday afternoon to claim a share of the Southern Conference regular-season title.

Elon's eighth straight victory improved the Phoenix to 17-2, and 8-0 in league play. The Mocs drop to 13-5 and 4-3 in the SoCon after the loss.

The match started with singles play due to inclement weather and did not move to doubles play as the outcome was decided in singles.

The Mocs will return to action Saturday, hosting Mercer in non-conference action at noon.
