Women's Tennis Hosts Doubleheader Tuesday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The women's tennis team hosts a doubleheader Tuesday at the UTC Tennis Complex.

The Lady Mocs host Kennesaw State at noon followed by Tennessee Tech at 3:30 p.m.

UTC brings a 6-15 overall record into Tuesday's action. Kennesaw State and Tennessee Tech bring identical 4-16 marks to Chattanooga.

The Lady Mocs defeated the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles 4-3 in the last meeting last April in Chattanooga.

UTC is scheduled to play four matches in three days, all at home, this week. Thursday, the Lady Mocs host another doubleheader, taking on Jacksonville State in a rescheduled match in the morning and Western Carolina in a Southern Conference contest.

Thursday will mark the final home appearance for Head Coach Tom Lowry's lone senior, 39th-ranked Anastasia Zhukova.

Admission to all home matches is free.
