Men's Tennis Hosts Mercer Tuesday

The men's tennis team hosts Mercer Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Champion's Club.


The Mocs, 8-2, had a seven-match win string halted by Southern Conference foe Elon Saturday, 6-1. Senior Razvan Axente supplied the team's only point with a three-set win at No. 2 singles.


The Bears, 2-7 overall, head into the match on the heels of two straight losses to USC Upstate and No. 45 East Tennessee State.


Mercer was 5-14 a year ago and play for Head Coach Nick Stutsman in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
