CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Coming off a second-place performance at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate earlier in the week, No. 13 Chattanooga travels to Greenville, S.C., for the Furman Intercollegiate. It is a three-day, 54-hole event with a challenging field.
There are seven top 50 teams in the tournament field, three in the top 25. They are: (13) CHATTANOOGA, (16) South Carolina, (23) Clemson, (33) Virginia Tech, (43) Vanderbilt, (45) North Florida and (50) Ohio State.
WHO: Ben Rickett. Rickett tied for fifth, along with teammate Jonathan Hodge, at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate earning SoCon Golfer of the Week honors. The junior overcame an opening round 77 to shoot two-under par over the final two rounds to lead the Mocs who had the low team score for the second and third rounds.
