STANFORD, Calif. ? The Chattanooga women's golf team is tied for 12th at the Peg Barnard California Classic hosted by Stanford University.
The Lady Mocs posted a 321 on the first day of the event at the Par 71, 6,117 yard Stanford Golf Course. Freshman Emma de Groot carded a 77 in the first round to lead
Chattanooga. She is tied for 20th followed by teammate Christine Wolf with a 79.
Rounding out the scoring for the Lady Mocs is Kayla Stewart with an 82 and Katie Taylor with an 83. Tomorrow's round will be a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
