Football Opener Kickoff Time Set

The football season opener Aug. 30 at Oklahoma will kick off at 6 p.m. CT in Norman, Okla., University of Oklahoma officials announced Tuesday.

The kick time completes Chattanooga's schedule as the opening game time was the only one missing for the current 2008 slate.

The game will be televised on a pay-per-view basis by Fox SportsNet.

Fans can no longer purchase tickets to the game through the Chattanooga ticket office, as the Mocs' deadline to report ticket numbers has passed.

The Mocs and the Sooners will be meeting for the first time on the football field.
