Football Season Kicks Off at SoCon Rouser

The 2008 football season kicks off ceremoniously Wednesday at the annual Southern Conference Football Rouser in Greenville, S.C.

Head Coach Rodney Allison is joined by seniors Raeshon Ball, a cornerback, and William Giles, an offensive lineman at the event. Wednesday's focus is the Media Day where members of the Southeast and national media will visit with players and coaches from all nine football-playing SoCon institutions.

The preseason polls and preseason All-Southern Conference teams will be announced this morning.

The entire Chattanooga team reports to campus July 30.
