VALDOSTA, Ga.---The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's golf team made a move over its final six holes this morning to jump North Carolina, Kentucky and Kennesaw State into 14th-place at the Kinderlou Forest Challenge. The event is being play at a par of 73 at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
Junior Emma de Groot ended her second round with a birdie to shoot a three-under par 70. That put her in the lead at 143 (-3), one shot ahead of Georgia's Marta Silva Zamora at two under and Vandy's Marina Alex at one under. Alex is ranked No. 2 nationally, while Zamora is No. 25 and de Groot at No. 76.
