The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Department participated in the 11th Annual Susan G. Komen Chattanooga Race for the Cure on the UTC campus today.  There were 95 members on the Mocs Squad, representing coaches, staff and five teams.

The track and field and cross country squads, along with members of the football team, helped with the race organization and production.  They were out on the course, giving directions to the runners and cheering on the participants.

Men's basketball, women's basketball, softball, men's tennis and wrestling all took part in the 5K run that began at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon.  It was followed by a one-mile fun walk.  An estimated crowd of 9,000 participants and spectators visited the campus today to participate in the afternoon event.
