SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Since joining the Southern Conference three years ago, the Bulldogs have finished second each year. The Bulldogs are fourth in the league in scoring with an average 64.5 points per game led by Emily London's 16.3 ppg. She leads the SoCon in free throw shooting making 93.2 percent of her shots. Four Samford players top the 3-point shooting percentage category led by Savannah Hill's 49.3 percent shooting. London is second (49.0%), Paige Anderson is third (46.7%) and Ruth Ketcham has a shooting percentage of 43.5 from beyond the arc. However, on the boards, the Bulldogs rank last in the league with 31.3 rebounds per game but hold opponents to just 33.2 per game, a SoCon-high.

LADY MOCS vs. BULLDOGS: The Lady Mocs and Samford 9-4 overall with the Bulldogs sweeping Chattanooga this year for the first time in the series. Chattanooga's last win against Samford was last year in the SoCon finals in a come-from-behind 72-67 win for the title. The loss at home this season was UTC's first to Samford with the Lady Mocs holding a 5-1 edge.
