The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga had 17 student-athletes earn a spot on the 2010-11 Southern Conference Winter All-Academic Team.  The Mocs led the league with three student-athletes posting a perfect 4.0 grade-point-average in the 2010 fall semester. 

To be eligible for Academic All-SoCon honors, student-athletes must carry a 3.2 cumulative grade point average entering the winter season and are required to compete in at least one-half of their team's competitions during the winter campaign. In addition, the student-athletes must have successfully completed 24 credit hours in the previous two semesters.

Seniors David Moore and Shelley Taylor and sophomore Morgan Buchanan - all members of the Mocs' indoor track & field squad - posted a perfect 4.0 in the fall.  Only seven student-athletes in the entire Southern Conference had a 4.0 last semester.    

The Academic All-SoCon team was comprised of student-athletes who participated in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's indoor track and field and wrestling.  The Mocs had 11 members of the indoor track & field squad honors, five from wrestling and one from women's basketball.
