The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team completed its second day of competition at the Tennessee Fall Invitational in Knoxville, Tenn., with some impressive results.  Junior Ankit Chopra (Chandigrah, India) and Roberto Vieira (Bedfordview, South Africa) won the White Doubles, while Chopra has advanced to the finals of the White Consolation Draw.

Chopra won a pair of singles matches in straight sets.  He is in Sunday's consolation finals.  He and Vieira advanced to the finals of the White Double draw and were supposed to face a tandem from host Tennessee.  However, one of the Vols was injured and the Mocs pair took the crown.

"Anytime you can win a flight at an event like this, it is very special," stated head Coach Carlos Garcia.   "We have a lot of guys gaining a lot of confidence, so we should only get better as we progress through the season."
