Mocs Take Part in Read Across America

| By:
Student-athletes at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga helped local elementary schools take part in the sixteenth annual National Education Association's (NEA) Read Across America Day on Friday, March 1, 2013.

NEA's Read Across America Day, which celebrates Dr. Seuss's birthday and the joys of reading, anticipated to reach more than 45 million readers, both young and old, encouraging them to pick up a book and read.

To honor the good doctor and celebrate the fun and value of reading, members of the UTC men's tennis, football, volleyball, women's basketball and wrestling teams visited schools in the Chattanooga area on Friday to read with the students.
