The Chattanooga Mocs football team advanced to the final 8 with yesterday's 35-14 win over Indiana State at Finley Stadium. UTC's next game is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12, at 8:00 p.m. at top-seeded New Hampshire.
The Mocs are the eighth seed in the 24-team tournament and are making their second appearance in the FCS Playoffs. Chattanooga is 10-3 overall and on a seven game winning streak, its longest since 1968. It is also the first 10-win season in the history of the program.
New Hampshire is 11-1 overall and won the Colonial Athletic Association with a 7-0 league mark. They defeated Fordham 44-17 in Saturday's second round.
