The Chattanooga Athletics Department will be distributing student tickets for the Mocs Jan. 28 men's basketball game against Davidson in advance of the game. The distribution will occur, Tuesday January 20th from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or until all tickets are distributed.
This distribution will be held at the Student Gate of the McKenzie Arena, which is located at Gate 1. Tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must present their valid UTC ID upon receiving their student ticket. Each student may also pick-up one (1) additional student ticket for another UTC Student if they present that student's valid ID at the time of pick-up.
THE GATE 1 DOORS OF MCKENZIE ARENA WILL OPEN AT 5:30 AM TUESDAY TO ALLOW STUDENTS TO LINE UP INSIDE AND AVOID THE COLD WEATHER WHILE WAITING TO PICK UP THEIR TICKET.
Each student ticket will be for a specific section but not for a particular seat. Sections will be distributed in the following order: 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 302, 303 and 304.
If you would like to bring a guest to the game who is not a UTC student, please request that your ticket be an Upper Level General Admission ticket when picking up your ticket. Then you will need to purchase the guest ticket from the McKenzie Arena Box Office. This will allow you to sit next to your guest.
On the night of the game, the student gate, which is located at Gate 1 of the McKenzie Arena, will open two (2) hours prior to tip-off to allow students with these student tickets to enter and claim a seat in the section designated by their student ticket. Students must present their valid UTC Student ID and their student ticket upon entering the gate. Only students with a valid UTC Student ID and a student ticket will be allowed to enter.
The Mocs will take on Southern Conference rival and Elite Eight participant Davidson on Wednesday January 28, at 7:00 p.m.
