Lady Mocs to Learn NCAA Fate on Monday

| By:

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.---The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's golf team is ranked No. 48 in the country by Golfstat and No. 46 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Ratings Index.  Those rankings would appear to bode well as the Lady Mocs await the announcement of the NCAA Regional fields on Monday, April 27.

The NCAA will announce the field to member schools via conference call at 4 p.m. on Monday.  It will be released on GoMocs.com as quickly as possible following selection.

“The girls are more focused on their final exams right now,” Head Coach Colette Murray.  “We are confident we are going, it's just a case of finding out where we are going.”

The regional sites are listed below.  There are 21 teams (63 total) in each of the three regional sites.  The top eight schools and two individuals from non-advancing schools move on to the NCAA Finals May 19-22 at the Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Md., for 72 holes of stroke play.
