Jaeger, Qvicker Fall at British Amateur

FORMBY, MERSEYSIDE, ENGLAND---It was not a fond Thursday morning for the remaining Chattanooga men's golfers remaining in the 125th British Amateur at Formby Golf Club.  Stephan Jaeger and Fredrik Qvicker dropped their morning matches to end impressive runs.

 

It just was not Jaeger's day in the round of 32.  He lost 6&5 to Mark Hillson of the UK.  Qvicker dropped a 2&1 decision James Byrne, also from the UK.

 

RESULTS:

Mark Hillson (UK) def. STEPHAN JAEGER (Germany), 6&5

James Byrne (UK) def. FREDRIK QVICKER (Sweden), 2&1
