"We were looking to add a transfer to this class and I think Jovana will fit right in to our team," stated Clark. "She has competed at a high level and will have a chance to have an immediate impact on our lineup."
Clark's 2012 recruiting class was already ranked No. 9 among mid-majors by TennisRecruiting.net before the addition of Pecovski. The Lady Mocs are also welcoming four-star signees Kelsey Coots (Huntsville, Ala.), Katie Polk (Woodstock, Ga.) and Kayla Jones (Memphis, Tenn.), as well as three-star prospect Alison Storie (Johnson City, Tenn.).
The Lady Mocs are looking to replace four seniors off last year's team that went 16-6 overall and fourth in the Southern Conference at 6-4. It was the most wins for the program since 1999.
The top three players in the lineup return in senior Jenna Nurik (Roswell, Ga.), junior Alexa Flynn (Memphis, Tenn.) and sophomore Kaylene Chadwell (Franklin, Tenn.). Nurik was an All-SoCon performer in 2012 while Chadwell was the 2012 SoCon Freshman of the Year.
