In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1) be a varsity letter winner, 2) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3) have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters (including freshman through senior year).
Crofford, a rising senior and native of Franklin, Tenn., had a 3.63 g.p.a. as a Political Science major in the 2011-12 academic year. He was 10-10 as a doubles player last season, including a 4-4 mark at No. 2 during the spring dual season.
Parfitt completed his playing career and plans to graduate in December with a degree in history. The Norwich, England, native, had a 3.70 g.p.a. last year. He won a SoCon doubles match against Georgia Southern with Crofford, but missed most of the season with a wrist injury.
