The Downtown Council meeting will be held in the DoubleTree Hotel (407 Chestnut Street) at 7:30 a.m. The event will be sponsored by ESPN Radio 105.1. All attendees are invited to come early and stay late for networking.
Football practice begins on Friday, Aug. 3, so Huesman will have a lot to talk about. UTC is receiving plenty of national attention heading into 2012 and is ranked as high as No 24 in various preseason polls. Chattanooga kicks off the 2012 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 1, with a trip to South Florida. The home opener is set for Thursday, Sept. 13, against Glenville State at 7:00 p.m. (E.D.T.).
The Downtown Council meetings, which take place the first Thursday of each month, are open to Chattanooga Chamber members and non-members. The cost is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Breakfast is provided.
