CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- University of Tennessee at Chattanooga 2014 graduate Taylor Hall (New Tazewell, Tenn.) signed a professional contract to play basketball in Poland for the CCC Polkewice.
Hall, the first player in Southern Conference history to be named the SoCon Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Tournament MVP was also selected the league’s Female Athlete of the Year. She averaged 15 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, while recording 2.5 steals and one block per game.
“It is a blessing that I am able to continue playing,” Hall said. “I thank my coaches, teammates and family for allowing me to have this opportunity. They gave me the chance to grow and to figure out who I am as a player and supported me through it all.
“God has used basketball to open many doors throughout my life and I am excited to see what He has in store for this new journey.”
Hall, who was invited to tryout for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA, begins training in Poland in September. The versatile player is expected to play wing for the team.
