The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga athletics department is set to host its annual ‘Meet the Mocs’ event on Saturday, Aug. 17. Gates open at Finley Stadium at 1:00 p.m. (E.D.T.). This is the first chance for fans to get an up-close look at all of the UTC athletics programs.
The afternoon begins with an autograph session with all teams in the First Tennessee Pavilion. Fans can get photos, autographs, posters, schedule cards and other Blue & Gold giveaways.
Be sure to get a FREE T-Shirt by taking the ‘Tried & True Blue’ pledge. The first 1,500 fans who promise to introduce a friend to the Mocs football home opener get a free shirt on the spot.
The football team takes the field at Finley Stadium at 2:30 p.m. for an afternoon practice. All fans are encouraged to watch the squad's preparation for an exciting 2013 season.
Following practice, the UTC Mocs Club hosts its annual BBQ dinner in the First Tennessee Pavilion. Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children (10 and under). For more information, contact Ryan Lowe at (423) 425-5866 or email@example.com.

Don't forget about visiting the Mocs Mobile Ticket Van. It will be on hand selling season tickets, as well as tickets to the home opener against UT Martin on Thursday, August 29, at 7:30 p.m.
Chattanooga Athletics thanks Academy Sports & Outdoors and Norfolk Southern for participating in this year's Meet the Mocs event. Academy is providing GO MOCS! Spirit Cards for all in attendance.
Norfolk Southern's "Train Your Brain" mascot Brainy will be on hand to pose for pictures while reminding attendees to be smart and alert at railroad crossings. He and his entourage will pass along branded giveaways for the campaign at its booth in the First Tennessee Pavilion.
