Ian Carruthers is in his second year at Chattanooga as a graduate assistant working with the Mocs football program.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Millican University in Decatur, Ill., in 2011. His responsibilities included head trainer for women's basketball and men's soccer while assisting with football, men's basketball and track and field.

Ian also worked with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, London's New Year's Day Parade and at the High School, College and World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Fla.

Ian is pursuing his Masters in Athletic Training at UTC. He is a native of Collierville, Tenn.
