UTC opens with six-straight home events, beginning with Georgia State on Friday, Jan. 18 at the Hixson Racquet Club. UTC also hosts Tennessee Tech (Jan. 20), Belmont (Jan. 25), Jacksonville State (Feb. 2), North Alabama (Feb. 3) and Austin Peay (Feb. 8) to start the season. Each of these matches are set for the indoor courts at the Hixson Racquet Club except for Belmont. The site for the match with the Bruins will be determined at a later date.
"I like the way our schedule came together for the upcoming spring season," stated Garcia. "We are taking on a lot of quality teams in our region and that should prepare us for another tough round of competition in Southern Conference play."
The Mocs have non-conference road matches at Murray State (Feb. 10), UAB (Feb. 17), North Carolina (Feb. 24) and Gardner-Webb (March 7). UTC hosts Lee University in a doubleheader with the women on Feb. 16 at the Champions Club.
The Mocs open the 10-match SoCon schedule on March 2 against the College of Charleston at the UTC Tennis Courts. The Mocs host UNCG (March 16), Elon (March 23), Appalachian State (April 6) and The Citadel (April 7) while visiting Davidson (March 6), Furman (March 29), Wofford (March 30), Samford (April 3) and Georgia Southern (April 13) during the regular season.

Chattanooga is coming off a 14-9 campaign that included a 4-6 mark in Southern Conference action in 2012. It was the most wins for the program since 2007. The Mocs return their top eight players and have seven seniors on the roster.
