Joe Levine joined UTC in January of 2014 as the Assistant Director of the Mocs Club. He is responsible for assisting with the advancement in annual private support and unrestricted gifts to the Mocs Club, as well as overseeing all special events associated with the annual fund operations.
Joe comes to Chattanooga from the University of South Florida. He served as an Administrative Associate assisting the director of athletics and senior staff with the day-to-day operations of the department, along with coordinating various special projects. He also was responsible for men’s and women’s basketball scheduling and game contracts for all of USF’s 19 sponsored sports.
During his time at USF, the athletic department received the Apple Distinguished Award, recognizing the department’s mission to support its student-athletes’ academic development. USF was the first-ever athletic department in the nation to receive this honor.
Joe received his undergraduate degree in American Culture from the University of Michigan in May 2010. He added his Master’s degree in Sport Administration from Ball State University in May 2012. During his time at Michigan, Joe was a member of the 2010 NCAA National Championship gymnastics team for the Wolverines as a senior, as well as the 2009 Big Ten Championship team.
