Trey Draper joined the Chattanooga Mocs basketball staff in May 2014 as a graduate manager. In that role, he aids in organizing film, day-to-day administrative tasks and works on and off the court assisting coaches and student-athletes.

Trey is a former student-athlete himself play at the University of Memphis. He was a walk-on guard for the Tigers where he was a part of two Conference USA regular season, three tournament championship and four NCAA Tournament squads.

A strong student, he graduated the summer before his senior season with a degree in Sport and Leisure Management (August 2013). Draper was a member of the Tiger 3.0 Club and was selected as just one of 300 students – nationwide – to attend the 2013 NCAA Sports Forum. He was two-time UM Student-Athlete of the Month (May & July 2013).

Draper was active in community service as well as professional development during collegiate career. He was active in SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Council), served as a volunteer at St. Jude Children’s Hospital and participated in Read for the Record in Shelby County schools. He served as a sports management intern with the Memphis Grizzlies through the National Basketball Academy.
