Colby Keegan
Position: Graduate Assistant
Experience: 1 Year

Colby begins his second season with Chattanooga in the Graduate Athletic Training Program. His primary responsibilities will be with football and the men’s and women’s golf teams.

A 2013 graduate of South Dakota State University, Colby received a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and was a student trainer for the athletic department there. He worked with the swimming and diving team, football and men’s basketball as well as local high schools. He also worked with the Summit League champion baseball team in his senior rotation.

The Jackrabbit’s baseball team advanced to the NCAA Tournament playing in the Eugene Regional. The men’s basketball team also claimed the league title in 2012 and received the Summit League’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Colby volunteered with the men’s and women’s rugby club teams and the Special Olympics softball.

In his first year with the Mocs, UTC’s football team and women’s golf team each claimed the Southern Conference title. The women’s team received the SoCon’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament while the men’s golf squad advanced to the postseason tournament with an at-large bid.

Colby was the Valedictorian of Dupree High School. He was a member of the National Honors Society and UCC Youth Group. He was a member of the football, wrestling and track and field teams.

He is the son of Deanne and Bruce Keegan and has two brothers, Ross and Garrett.
