Angela Moening
Position: Graduate Assistant
Experience: 1st Year

Angela joins the Chattanooga athletic training staff this fall in her first year. Her responsibilities will be with the football team and the men’s and women’s tennis teams.

She comes to UTC from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. In her sophomore year she worked with the wrestling and field hockey teams. As a junior, she worked with St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. The Irish football team won the Division III state title. In her senior year she worked with the women’s basketball team.

While a student at Kent State, she served as the secretary for the Organization of Athletic Training Students and volunteered in the medical tent for the Akron Marathon for two years. Anglela is a national-registered EMT and tutored students for Anatomy and Physiology I and II.

Angela, from Elida, Ohio, graduated in the Top 10 of her class from Elida High School and was a member of the National Honors Society. She was a member of the volleyball, basketball, softball and swim teams while at Elida and also played Club Volleyball.

She is the daughter of Steve and Diane Moening and his an older sister Pamela Vierheller and older brother Steven.
