The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga observed its 229th Commencement on Sunday, December 14, at the McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tenn. The Mocs saw eight student-athletes receive their degrees at the event.

Anderson, the 2008 Southern Conference Female Athlete of the Year, is currently playing professionally in Israel. The two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year was a consistent Academic Honor Roll and Dean’s List student during her time at UTC.

Another women’s basketball standout, Brooke Hand, earned her degree in K-12 Health and Exercise Pedagogy. She leaves Chattanooga as the Southern Conference’s all-time leader in 3-pt. FGs with 315.
