2009-10
Started in all 12 events...all 34 rounds counted to team score, only player to accomplish the feat this season and just the second Mocs golfer (Matt Brock, 30-30, 2003-04) to do it with more than 30 rounds under their belt...Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar...PING All-Region...All-SoCon and Academic All-SoCon...second on the team with a 73.12 scoring average...five rounds in the 60s and 14 par or better rounds were second on the squad as well...one top 10 with an eighth at Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate shooting 212 (+2)...low 54-hole score of 210 (-6) tying for 14th at Administaff Augusta State Invite...also the location of his low round firing a 67 (-5) in the final round...ranked 17th in the nation with six eagles...second on the squad with 102 birdies and 358 pars...tied for 13th at SunTrust Gator Invitational (215) and tied for 20th at Carpet Capital Collegiate (218)...played 76.1 percent of his holes at par or better...10 rounds with four or more birdies and 10 rounds with 15 par or better holes...carded a spotless 68 (-2) in the opening round of the Gator with two birdies and 16 pars.

Played in 11 of 12 events...Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar...PING All-Region...made his third straight all-conference squad in 2009...ranked No. 116 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Ratings Index...finished fourth in the SoCon in scoring average (73.13)...three top 10s with two top fives...three top 10s tied Stephan Jaeger for second on the squad behind Ben Rickett...posted two sub-par rounds at the Aldila Scenic City Invitational...was second in birdies with 15 at the SunTrust Gator Invitational shooting three rounds in the 60s in finishing fourth at four-under par, one shot out of the lead...nine of his 12 par/better rounds and all seven in the 60s this season have come in the Spring...came in second at 10-under par at Administaff Augusta State Invitational where he played par or better for 51 of 54 holes...tied for eighth at two under (214) at SoCon Championship...leads squad with seven rounds in the 60s and is tied for second with 12 par/better...SoCon Golfer of the Week for April 1-7...SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week for May 13-19...Academic All-Conference...28 of 32 rounds are counters with his average drop score being 75.

2007-08
Derek was one of two players (Hodge) to compete in all 13 tournaments for the Mocs...earned PING All-Region honors...repeated on All-SoCon team...ranks second on the squad with a 72.1 scoring average...has five top 10 finishes with a best of third at the VCU Shootout with an eight-under par 208...two of his five top 10's were top five finishes...finished fifth at Cleveland Palmetto Intercollegiate (+4/214)...led squad with 10 rounds in the 60's with a low of 67 at the VCU Shootout...16 of his 37 rounds were par or better...ranked second in the SoCon in scoring average behind Hodge...ranked No. 66 in the Golfstat Cup and No. 74 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Ratings Index...ranked in the top 20 nationally in par 5 scoring (14, 4.66)...accounted to team score in 32 of 37 rounds.

2006-07
