All-SoCon Coaches & Media (Second Team)... 2nd Team All-SoCon Tournament...SoCon Ranks:  Third in rebounding (8.6), FIRST in defensive rebounds (6.0), 12th in scoring (13.7), ninth in blocks (1.0) and 10th in FG% (51.1)...10 double-doubles on the season, 16 in his career...818 rebounds is the UTC DI career record as is his 565 FT attempts and 131 games played...only player in UTC history with 1400-plus points and 700-plus rebounds in their career...finished with 1,406 points, fourth in the DI era, 43 behind Gerald Wilkins (1983-85) and Brandon Born (1992-95) in second place with 1,449...went over 1400 points in the NCAA Tournament...topped the 1,000 career point mark against Fairfield and the 700-mark in rebounds at Elon...moved past Lance Fulse (747) into first in career rebounds at UTC in home win over Elon...topped 800 rebounds in SoCon Tournament win over Elon...set season rebound record with 302 against UConn passing Lance Fulse who had 300 in 1987-88...second all-time in free throws made (365) to Stanford Strickland (401)...12 boards or more in seven games...season-high 23 points to go with 12 rebounds and three blocks at Samford...scored 21 points against Mississippi Valley State, Furman and UNCG as well as 20 in home win over Samford...career-high 17 boards in win over Niagara...five blocks at home against Wofford a career high...three or more blocks five times...named to Dr Pepper Classic All-Tournament team.

 

2007-08

 

Started all 31 games...All-SoCon selection...averaged 14.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game while shooting 58.8 percent from the floor...one of three captains (Zach Ferrell, Stephen McDowell)...led the squad in rebounds (219), field goals made (168) and blocks (36) and second in points with 438...posted new career highs in all major categories...26 points at home against Davidson, 16 rebounds at College of Charleston, five assists against Georgia Southern, three blocks against three opponents (Tennessee, Murray State, Georgia Southern), two steals against five teams and 34 minutes against three...hit the game-winning shot with 30 seconds to play at Elon which secured a share of the North Division title...scored his 900th point and grabbed 500th rebound in the loss at UNCG becoming the eighth player in UTC’s DI history to accomplish it...completed the season with 17 straight double-figure scoring games, team-high 26 for the year...led the squad with five double-doubles and five double-figure rebounding games...44 dunks...named to Dr Pepper Classic All-Tournament team.

 

2006-07

 

Appeared in all 33 games for the Mocs, starting 31 and averaged 23.7 minutes per game... averaged 10.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game...shot 49.8 percent (118-of-237) from the floor...made 13 three-pointers and was 89-of-132 from the charity stripe...pulled down 193 rebounds with 128 defensive boards...notched a then-career high of 12 rebounds against Prairie View A&M...scored a career-high 20 points in Chattanooga’s season-opener against Ohio Valley and had 19 points in three contests...scored in double-figures 16 times with a double-double against Prairie View A&M...dished out 26 assists including a career-high three at Florida.

 

2005-06

 

Appeared in all 32 games ... Scored 4.7 points and grabbed 3.3 rebounds per game while averaging 12.8 minutes per game as a true freshman ... Scored six points in his UTC debut at Mississippi State ... Scored in double figures in five games, including a high of 18 points against Milligan ... Was perfect from the field (3-3, 1-1 3-pt) and the free throw line (4-4) en route to an 11-point performance against Wofford ... Was second on the team in 3-point percentage (.367) going 11-30 ... Grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds against PR-Mayaguez in the second game of the San Juan Shootout ... Shot 51.6 percent from the field.

State of Tennessee Class A Mr. Basketball award winner in 2005...averaged 25.3 points, 14.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 4.0 steals and 3.8 blocked shots per game his senior season...shot 68.5 percent from the floor...scored 19 points in Class A state quarterfinal victory...also pulled down 13 rebounds and blocked four shots in the win...Golden Tide lost to Middleton, 56-49 in state title game and finished with a 27-10 overall record...made 20-of-23 free throws during the state tournament...named to State’s All-Tournament team...set career high with a 45-point performance in his final season...McDonald’s All-America nominee...three-time All-District and All-Region performer...voted second team All-State as a senior and honorable mention All-State as a junior...averaged 21.7 points and 11.6 rebounds per game his junior year and 16.4 points and 10.4 boards per outing as a sophomore...three-year starter...PHS went 12-16 his junior year and 21-7 his sophomore season...coached at Peabody by Clint Sisco...signed with UTC in the fall...also considered Auburn, Virginia Tech, and Western Kentucky.
