The Chattanooga football game against Elon on October 18, 2008 has been designated "Military Appreciation Day".  All active duty or retired military personnel and their dependents can receive a free ticket to the game by showing a valid Military ID at the box office.

Some special veterans will serve as honorary captains at the coin toss.  A special patriotic band show will be performed at halftime by the Marching Mocs.  There is also a rumor of a special event right before kickoff.  

Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
