Scouting the Lady Mocs:

The Lady Mocs are 1-2 overall after falling to No. 16/22 Georgia in UTC's home opener. Senior Shanara Hollinquest recorded her second double-double and leads the team with 18.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. She is shooting 78.9 percent from the free throw line making 15-of-19. Senior Jenaya Wade-Fray is second on the team in scoring with 14.0 per game. Freshman Kayla Christopher has gotten the starting nod in all three games and is third on the team in scoirng wtih 8.0 points per game. She knocked down three 3-pointers against Georgia in the Roundhouse and had a career night against Austin Peay with 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists, two steals and just one turnover. The Lady Mocs average 64.7 points per game and are shooting better than 39 percent from the 3-point line with a league-best 22 so far.

Scouting the Wildcats:

The Wildcats opened the season with three games in five days posting a 3-0 mark over that period. In back-to-back home contests, Kentucky posted wins over Boston University and Butler then defeated Morehead State on the road. Kentucky averages 83.7 points per game and has held opponents to an average 59.7 points for a scoring margin of 24 points. The Wildcats have dominated the boards, outrebounding foes by 12 boards per game, averaging 46.7. Junior Victoria Dunlap leads the team with 23 points per game and 15.3 rebounds. Amber Smith has a team-high 11 rebounds and averages 13.7 points per game as does Mathies A'dia. GPS graduate Carly Morrow is the fourth UK player averaging double figures with 10 points per game.
