This is the fifth time in school history over 2,000 season tickets have been purchased, including 2,300 in 1997 and 2003 in 1998. The earliest Chattanooga has hit the 2,000 mark came last year on July 29. In 2009, the first year under Head Coach Russ Huesman, the Mocs hit 2,000 on Aug. 18 and finished with a then-school-benchmark of 2,527.
After opening the year at home in each of the last two seasons, the Mocs will have an additional week of sales before the first home game against preseason top-10 Jacksonville State. Kickoff against the Gamecocks is set for 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 10. Be sure to check out the details on the "Go Blue Be Gold" campaign so you know exactly what color to wear to the game.
