The Mocs went through a 23-period session in helmets. Rain started falling shortly after practice began and made for a sloppy afternoon. There were some expected miscues as UTC transitions out of the passing attack of the B.J. Coleman era to the spread offense they are expected to run in the fall.
UTC will be back on the field on Saturday at 7:45 a.m. (E.D.T.). All practices are open to the public and fans are encouraged to make the short trek down the Tennessee Riverwalk to check out the latest addition of the Mocs. A full camp schedule is available here.
The season starts with a Sept. 1 trip to South Florida. Kick-off is 7:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) against the Bulls and the game will broadcast on ESPN3. Huesman to Speak at the UTC Mocs Club Meeting
Head Coach Russ Huesman is scheduled to speak at the next UTC Mocs Club meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 7. The UTC Mocs Club meeting takes place in the Hall of Fame room on the fourth floor of McKenzie Arena. Refreshments are served at 6:45 and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. Anyone is invited to attend the meeting and more information on the UTC Mocs Club is available here. UTC Night at the Lookouts - Aug. 16
The Lookouts are hosting a UTC Night on Thursday, Aug. 16. Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

Be sure to mark your calendar for Meet the Mocs presented by Blood Assurance on Saturday, Aug. 18. Gates open and autographs begin at 1:00 p.m. in the First Tennessee Pavilion. The Mocs will take the field at Finley Stadium for practice at 2:30 p.m. More details will be available on GoMocs.com the week of the event.
