Disterdick (Hixson, Tenn.) and Grigorjevs (Riga, Latvia) posted an 8-5 win over UNCG's Danny Mack and Cameron Smith to take the draw. Disterdick was the lone Moc competing in singles action today. He fell in the No. 4 backdraw to Lee's Patrick Kim (6-2, 6-3).
Seniors Roberto Vieira (Bedfordview, South Africa) and Chris Smith (Johnson City, Tenn.) won the No. 1 backdraw. They scored a tough 9-8 (5) win over Kennesaw State's Tobi Menhover and Louis Theodor. Fellow seniors Ankit Chopra (Chandigrah, India) and Stephen Crofford (Franklin, Tenn.) won the No. 3 backdraw with an 8-2 win against Jacksonville State Felipe Wantanabe and Felipe Diaz.
The Mocs are back in action on Oct. 12-14 when they travel to Knoxville, Tenn., for the Tennessee Fall Classic.
