TAYLOR:  Atlanta, GA

Q:  What would be your ultimate vacation spot?

TAYLOR:  Hawaii

Q:  What is something people might not know about you?

TAYLOR:  I play the drums for my church, and I actually love to go to school.

Q:  What TV show do you watch you wouldn’t tell your teammates about?

TAYLOR:  Whose Line Is It Anyway

Q:  What is your non-athletics dream job?

TAYLOR:  Becoming a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) where I come to work with a suit and tie on everyday...sit at my own desk and lay back with my legs crossed in a leather chair with a fancy, expensive pen in my hand...have my secretary tell me that I have a call on line one...have lunch with my wife...and make 6 figures...had to break it down because its not a dream job if I don’t include specific details.

Q:  What is the one TV show you never miss?

TAYLOR:  My Wife and Kids

Q:  What villain from TV/Movies would you be?

TAYLOR:  Michael Myers

Q:  If an actor were to play you in a movie, who would it be?

TAYLOR:  Will Smith, he’s the best

Q:  What is your favorite color?

TAYLOR:  Red with a mixture of black...but red is the primary color

Q:  What word describes you best?

TAYLOR:  Humble

Q:  Who do you admire?

TAYLOR:  I admire the whole UTC basketball coaching staff because everybody does their job to the highest potential and it seems as if they have a passion for it which notifies me that I’m in the right program.

Q:  What current player do you think your game is like?

TAYLOR:  Richard Hamilton with a little bit of Reggie Miller...and you can throw some Tracy McGrady and Kobe Bryant in there...but hey, the one player that I know for sure who I think my game is like is Ricky Taylor...there is only one of him.

Q:  What song gets you pumped up for a game?

TAYLOR:  Now Behold the Lamb by Kirk Franklin...Zach Ferrell sings along with me sometimes and let’s not forget the pep band music when we come out

Q:  Are you a dog or cat person?

TAYLOR:  I’m a dog type person...”its not the size of the dog in fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog”...I cat wouldn’t just sound right for that quote

Q:  Who is the most famous person in your cell phone?

TAYLOR:  Tony Delk

Q:  You’re stranded on the road and your car is busted. Which teammate do you call to come get you?

TAYLOR:  Keegan Bell

Q:  What is the first thing you purchased from the UTC bookstore?

TAYLOR:  Some UTC basketball shorts and an under armor shirt

Q:  Do you collect anything? What?

TAYLOR:  I collect different color NBA socks

TAYLOR:  The book of Psalms/ David

Q:  Three items you would want most if deserted on an island?

TAYLOR:  A cell phone, food, Kool-Aid

Q:  If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the hospital bed next to you and why?

TAYLOR:  I would want a special female friend (not girlfriend because I don’t have one) because it’s something about the presence and touch of a woman.

Q:  If you could keep three things/personal items, what would they be and why?

TAYLOR:  Cell phone, laptop, wallet...I have to always keep my social life up with the cell phone, the laptop gets all types of business handled for me ( I would die without the laptop), and my wallet has money in it (if im not broke) and has relevant identification

Q:  Person that has most influenced you in life, why?

TAYLOR:  My dad has most influenced me because he paved the way by raising me in the church and setting a positive example by not forcing things upon me.  My dad allowed me to make my own personal decisions on life and my decisions were based on his actions and the way he conducted himself.

Q:  Favorite food?

TAYLOR:  Macaroni and Cheese

Q:  If you could trade places with Coach Shulman for one day what would you do?

TAYLOR:  I would make the whole coaching staff do box out drills, run sprints, and FIRE on defense just to encourage the players that we are “IN THIS TOGETHER!!!”

Q:  If you could give your favorite coach a nickname, what would it be?

TAYLOR:  I love all the coaches but I have one for Coach Conrady- “Smooth Ol Conrady”

Q:  If you could win a gold medal in the Olympics in any sport, besides the one you are competing in, what would it be?

TAYLOR:  Track

Q:  Funniest player on the team and why?

TAYLOR:  Dante Harvey...he just has the natural tendency to make everybody laugh...a unique characteristic born within him

Q:  Which teammate would make a great politician and why?

TAYLOR:  Stephen McDowell, well this individual gave me his business card...that’s enough right there...for a basketball player to have one of those says a lot about that person.  He has his own website, dvd, makes the grades...very intelligent...has his degree already....there it is.

Q:  The most famous person you’ve ever met is...

TAYLOR:  Tye Tribbett

Q:  If you could be on any reality TV show, what would it be and why?

TAYLOR:  College Hill because every time I walk in someone’s room they are watching College Hill- most popular on campus.

Q:  Nickname? How did you get it?

TAYLOR:  “The Truth”...my announcer in high school just started to call me The Truth..guess because my game was the truth...but I refer it to John 14:6:  “I am the way, ‘The Truth,’ and the Life.”

Q:  What was your favorite cartoon growing up?

TAYLOR:  Hey Arnold!

TAYLOR:  A pig...love you to death Jasper!!!
