The Chattanooga Athletics Communications and Media Relations Office acts as the primary liaison between UTC's athletics programs and the public. The office produces a mountain of information celebrating the exploits each Chattanooga team to satisfy the cravings for information of Mocs Fans everywhere.  The Communications Office also facilitates interviews and media coverage between the Chattanooga Athletics Administrators, Coaches and Student-Athletes and national, regional and local media. 

In addition to its media relations responsibilities, the Media Relations Office also produces publications such as media guides and game programs, maintains the official athletic department web site, www.gomocs.com, writes news and public information releases and assists the Marketing Office in the creation of posters, and schedule cards.

The UTC Media Relations Office also provides game-day management and statistical services as needed at competition sites, compiles the historical records of each team through the collection of results, photos, newspaper clippings and video tape and oversees the athletic department's Hall of Fame. The staff also works closely with the Southern Conference, the NCAA and various sports governing organizations.

The Creative Services Office serves as editor of GoMocs.com, is responsible for premium content such as streaming audio and video on the site, and oversees production for in-venue video boards.   The office also coordinates all revenue-producing areas of GoMocs.com, such as premium subscriptions, auctions, and the photo store.  The newly-created office will also assist the Director of Athletics with special projects.
