2010 was a wonderful year for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and your Chattanooga Mocs! There were so many great accomplishments on campus the past twelve months, including the beginning of construction on the new library, record enrollment, the completion of renovations to the Murphy-Haugerud Football Practice Complex at Scrappy Moore Field, the reemergence of the football team, record student-athlete g.p.a.'s and the graduation of over 40 student-athletes.
Rather than list every accomplishment in this letter, we invite you to hear more about them in person! As we ring in 2011, members of the UTC administration and the Mocs Athletics staff will be traveling throughout the southeast promoting all things Blue and Gold!
Our first two stops will be Nashville and Atlanta. Please mark your calendars for either February 8 to join us for lunch at Amerigo Italian Restaurant in Nashville or February 15 at Maggiano's Little Italy in Atlanta.
During our time together, you will hear from Chancellor Roger Brown, Director of Athletics Rick Hart and Head Football Coach Russ Huesman. This will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about the university, as well as for us to learn more about you.
We are excited about the opportunity to travel to Nashville and Atlanta and visit with alumni and friends of the university. We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us.
