Today, however, the Mocs spent their afternoon off giving back to the community. The majority of the 87 members on the roster made their way to the Holiday Bowl in Chattanooga to volunteer for the 2010 Special Olympics Tennessee Bowling Competition.
On a day where the team received its first national ranking since 1997, the Mocs were out in full force in their volunteer efforts. Team members worked the alleys, helping keep score, offering assistance during the competition and showing off as the biggest cheerleaders in the galleries.
Following the event, the Mocs gave out medals, pinned ribbons on the winners and posed for pictures with the competitors. Be sure to check out the photo gallery at the top of the page for shots of all today's action.
