Former Wrestler Passes Away
Former UTC wrestler James Patrick Russell, 43, of Lookout Mountain, Ga., passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday of a heart attack.

A 1986 graduate of UTC, he was born March 17, 1964, in Millington, Tenn. He served five years in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot with the 101st Airborne Division.

He was president and publisher of Homes and Land Magazine and enjoyed coaching The Baylor School’s junior varsity wrestling team for nearly 15 years.

Services will be held Monday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church, 1227 Scenic Highway, Lookout Mountain, Ga.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Cavanaugh Hall at the Catholic church.

Interment will be at l2:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Baylor School for the Luke Worsham Wrestling Arena, 171 Baylor School Road, Chattanooga, TN 37405.
