Chattanooga Lady Mocs Postgame Quotes

Head Coach Wes Moore
Thoughts on the game:
"Offensive rebounds. All you have to do is box out the last possession. You are up two and they miss a shot, all you have to do is box out and get one rebound and you have won the game. They are going to have to foul you. We did not get that one rebound and in overtime the same thing. They kept getting offensive boards ... 10 out of 21 from the foul line doesn't get it done either. We scored 23 points in the second half and we just didn't execute it well enough."
"It is very disappointing because there is a very small margin for error. Last year we lost the regular season championship by one game. You can't afford to let one get away like we did tonight."
"We were right on the edge so many times of putting it away and we just didn't quite do it. That is what happens when you are on the road. When you don't put a final nail in it and get it done, this is what happens. Very disappointing."
On Elon's defense of Ashlen Dewart in the first half:
"They did a good job of doubling her and they were very physical with her. She missed some easy shots in the first half, but she got her confidence back in the second and hit some big shots for us. It really gave us and edge."
On Kylie Lambert's play with seven steals:
"She made some big steals ... she also had six assists to only thee turnovers. She got seven boards. Kylie is just an all-around player. She does a lot of things well. She stepped up for us and did some good things and gave us a chance to win the game."
