- Chattanooga lose 92-85 in overtime at Samford in Hanna Center Saturday night…the Mocs are 15-11, 9-2 in the Southern Conference, while the Bulldogs improve to 11-15, 5-6 in the league.

- The loss drops the Mocs to 9-2 in the SoCon and into second-place…Davidson takes sole possession of first after a 65-50 win against Furman at home tonight.

- First loss on a Saturday this season…6-1 on that day of the week.

- Samford is the most frequent opponent in school history…today was the 86th meeting…Chattanooga leads the series 51-36, 15-24 in Birmingham.

- The loss drops the Mocs to 4-2 on the road in conference play.

- Chattanooga leads the SoCon in blocked shots averaging 5.3 per game, 7.0 in league games…blocked five tonight…12 straight games with five or more blocks.

- The Mocs entered the game averaging 76.4 points per game which was second in the SoCon…scored 85, 77 in regulation.
