The Chattanooga wrestling team helped out with the Bright School’s Jump Rope for Heart event today. The Mocs wrestlers and coaches took turns helping the elementary schoolers with their event to benefit the American Heart Association.
This is the 30th anniversary of Jump Rope for Heart which the AHA uses to collect money for children and adults who have heart disease due to heart attacks or strokes or born with a deficient heart.
The wrestlers were jumping pogo sticks over long ropes, jumping ropes across low balance beams, throwing ropes for the kids to jump, high fiving and giving lots of autographs.
The Mocs host their final home match of the season on Monday, Feb. 23, against VMI. Senior Night is set to begin in MacLellan Gym at 6:00 p.m. (E.S.T.).
