The Chattanooga Mocs won their fifth consecutive Southern Conference Women’s Golf Championship. Not only did the team win, but it was a clean sweep with a fourth straight medalist.
Sophomore Emily McLennan (Queensland, Australia) captured her first collegiate win. McLennan shot rounds of 73, 75 and 74 for a six-over par total of 222 which was four shots better than Furman Taylor Totland at 226.
McLennan follow Emma de Groot (2011), Jordan Britt (2012) and Agathe Sauzon (2013) as league champions. Her four-shot win is the most by a Moc and the largest margin of victory since Stefanie Kenoyer (223, Furman) topped Danielle Mills (227, Elon) by the same amount in 2009.Please enjoy this photo gallery commemorating the Mocs fifth straight title!
