The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga now has four football games set for an ESPN3 broadcast during the upcoming 2013 season. Georgia State announced this week that its home game against UTC has been added to the Sun Belt’s ESPN3 schedule. The Mocs visit the Panthers on Saturday, Sept. 7, for a 2:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) kickoff at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Georgia State is in its fourth year of college football and the first as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The Panthers competed in the Colonial Athletic Association last season and are making the jump to the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) in 2013.
The Mocs other three games on ESPN3 were previously announced as a part of the Southern Conference broadcast package. UTC’s Oct. 12 Homecoming Game against Furman, the Nov. 9 game against Wofford and the Nov. 16 contest at Samford can all be viewed on ESPN3.
ESPN3 is available in approximately 75 million homes to fans who receive their Internet connection from an affiliated service provider. The network is also available at no cost to 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel. ESPN3 programming is also available to subscribers through Xbox LIVE and through the free WatchESPN app available on smartphones and tablets. The WatchESPN app is now available through Apple TV.
